{¶ 1} The Monreal Funeral Home, Inc. (“Monreal”) appeals from a judgment of the Lake County Court of Common Pleas granting a directed verdict in favor of Ohio Farmers Insurance Company (“Ohio Farmers”). The case arose from disputes between Monreal and Olympic Building Company (“Olympic”) regarding the construction of a funeral home. Monreal filed a complaint against Ohio Farmers to recover under the performance bond that it issued for this construction project.
