PERRY, Judge:

The appellant was convicted of possession of heroin and of conspiracy to introduce heroin into a military aircraft for the purpose of transfer to the United States, in violation of Articles 134 and 81, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 934 and 881, respectively. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 18 months, forfeiture of $200 per month for 18 months and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade.
