This case involves a contract for deed wherein respondent MCC Investments agreed to sell appellants Crystal Properties, a partnership composed of Mahendra Nath, Sita Tatini and Pran Wahi, a commercial office building. Crystal Properties attempted to rescind the contract and stopped making payments. MCC then brought suit for specific performance. Crystal Properties counterclaimed for rescission, or in the alternative, for damages.
