Petitioners, minority shareholders in Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., hereafter Hubbard, applied to the Hennepin County District Court for several forms of relief, including damages allegedly sustained by them in successfully petitioning for a writ of mandamus commanding Hubbard to permit them to inspect designated corporate records. The district court denied all such relief.
