At the November election, 1914, Edwin Hodgson, appellant, was a candidate on the republican ticket for the office of county treasurer of Woodford county, and E. W. Knoblauch, appellee, was a candidate for the same office on the democratic ticket. The canvass of the votes showed a majority of twenty-six for appellee and a certificate of election was issued to him. Appellant filed in the county court his petition to contest the election, alleging that certain ballots were wrongfully counted for appellee and that lawful ballots for the appellant were not counted for him.
