At the election held November 8, 1910, in Woodford county, Ed C. Engel was the democratic candidate for county treasurer and B. F. Slenker was the republican candidate for said office. The election returns showed that Engel received 2126 votes and that Slenker. received 2077 votes for county treasurer, and George Shuman, candidate on the prohibition ticket for said office, received 42 votes. A certificate of election was issued to Engel, and Slenker filed a petition in the county court of said county to contest the election, making Ed C. Engel the sole defendant. A motion was made and…
