Plaintiffs Edwin and Rosalie Kuechler (“the Kueehlers” or “Plaintiffs”) bring this action against defendant Peoples Bank of Kent County, Maryland (“Peoples Bank” or “Defendant”) alleging, inter alia, violations of the federal Truth in Lending Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq. (“TILA”), and illegal banking practices in relation to an indemnity mortgage executed by the Kue-chlers in favor of Peoples Bank. The Kue-chlers filed their original complaint in the Circuit Court for Kent County, Maryland. Peoples Bank removed this case to federal court on July 2,…
