Appellants Tanya and Jeffrey Childers filed this action in Montgomery Circuit Court against the Appellees, Sandra F. Geile, M.D. and Marshall Emergency Services Associates, PSC, claiming severe emotional distress caused by the outrageous and intentional or reckless conduct of Dr. Geile when she told them that Tanya had miscarried their child when in fact she had not.
