LARSON, Justice.
Appellant, in the district court of Salt Lake county, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, and' appeals. On April 2, 1934, a complaint was filed before Hon. Vere L. McCarthy, city judge, charging defendant, Thomas Freeman, with the crime of involuntary manslaughter. On April 9, 1934, an amended complaint was filed charging the same offense on the same facts, but in two counts. Defendant was arraigned on this complaint and on May 2d appeared before Hon. C. F.
