Patrons Mutual Insurance Association (Patrons) appeals the order of the trial court granting summary judgment in favor of Union Gas System, Inc., (Union Gas) in a subrogation action for damages Patrons paid its insured arising out of an explosion of Union Gas’s gas pipeline system. Patrons’ insured had previously settled his uninsured losses caused by the explosion in another action against Union Gas which was dismissed with prejudice after the settlement.
