TAYLOR, Justice.

In this appeal, the former husband seeks reversal of the district court’s decision to extend the period of time during which the former husband is required to pay alimony to his former wife. The former husband also contends that since the district court exhibited such bias and prejudice against him in the original divorce proceeding, the district court is required to grant the former husband’s motion for disqualification.
