This case is before us on petition by the accused to review the record of his conviction for the offense of unpremeditated murder. He was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement for fifteen years. The convening authority approved the finding and sentence, and the board of review in the office of The Judge Advocate General, of the Army affirmed. In. granting the petition we limited our review to a determination of the sufficiency of the evidence to establish the death of the person named in the specification ; and…
