Plaintiff appeals as of right the circuit court’s dismissal of his legal malpractice claim barred by the statute of limitations. MCR 2.116(C)(7). The court did not address plaintiff’s motion to amend his complaint to add a claim of fraudulent concealment. We affirm.

In late 1982 or early 1983, plaintiff retained the defendant law firm to recover funds belonging to him from his former employer’s pension and profit-sharing plans.
