The single issue presented is whether there is sufficient evidence in the record to support the trial court’s determination that Vernon Oswald’s death from a myocardial infarction was accelerated by a substantial period of time as a direct and proximate result of the effect of his occupational disease, avian tuberculosis, on his pre-existing coronary artery disease.
