2Per curiam

Gilbert R. Spurlock appeals a district court grant of summary judgment for his former employer in this action, which was filed under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 2601-2654, and also included supplemental state-law claims.

Spurlock alleged that Peterbilt fired him from his job after he: (1) took time off from work to care for his wife; (2) reported safety violations to the Tennessee Occupational Health and Safety Division; and (3) filed a claim for worker’s compensation benefits.
