APPEAL from tbe Circuit Court for Milwaukee County. Plaintiff appealed from an order sustaining a demurrer to tbe complaint. The case is stated in the opinions.

This action is brought against the defendants for refusing, as the inspectors of election of the first precinct of the fifth ward of the city of Milwaukee, the vote of the plaintiff offered at the general election of 1879. The complaint shows that the plaintiff had all the'qualifications of a legal voter, at such election and in such precinct, required by article III, sec. 1, of the constitution of the state, and the general election laws, but fails to state that he had complied with the provisions of chapter 235 of the Laws of 1879, requiring his previous registration to entitle him to vote,…
