On the 12th day of November, 1894, six actions at law were commenced in the superior court of Pierce county by the appellants against one *656Erasmus Bennett et al. to recover different amounts aggregating $20,970.35. On the same day a writ of attachment was issued in each of said actions on the ground of non-residence of the defendants, and the same were, on the following day, November 13, 1894, levied upon the same property described in the mortgage sought to be foreclosed in the case at bar, as property of Erasmus Bennett.
