Plaintiff in error, hereinafter called defendant, was convicted in the district court of Beaver county of the crime of receiving stolen property, and his punishment fixed by the jury a.t a fine of $250 and imprisonment in the county jail for a period of 30 days.
Defendant is a farmer residing near the town of Gate, in Beaver county, and was convicted of receiving two one-way plows which ivere alleged to have been stolen from Paul A. Custer by one Glen Moody;' Custer residing in the state of Kansas, and the property being taken off his farm near Satana, a distance of more than one hundred miles…
