California Trust Co. v. Cohn

The plaintiff instituted this action to quiet its title to certain land in Los Angeles County. The alleged that the defendants claimed some interest in the land, that such claim was without right, and concluded with a prayer that defendants be required to set forth the nature of their claim and that it be adjudged to be without right, and void and that defendants be perpetually enjoined from asserting any claim to the land.
