The plaintiff, the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley, on November 1, 1922, loaned the Warners, husband and wife, $7,200 on their note indorsed by the Salt River Yalley National Farm Loan Association, a corporation, and secured by a realty mortgage on lands situate in Maricopa county. The defendant mortgagors defaulted in the payments, also in keeping the taxes, water dues, and insurance paid; hence this suit was brought to collect the note and foreclose the mortgage.
