This is an action to enforce an award of the Workmen's Compensation Bureau, in favor of the relator and against the defendants, in the sum of $2,543.00. ' ' '

The award was made under § 11 of the Workmen’s Compensation Act (Laws 1919, chap. 162) which reads:

‘Employers subject to this Act, who shall fail to comply with the provisions of Sections six and seven hereof, shall not be entitled to the benefits-of this Act during the period of such non-compliance, but shall be liable to their employees for damages suffered by reason of injuries sustained in the course of employment, and also to the…
