State Line & Sullivan Railroad Company, — whose rights, so far as concerns this proceeding, are now vested in the appellant, the Bernice Land Corporation, — was the owner of a tract of coal land in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, which it leased on December 24, 1903, to William S. Connell and J. S.
