ROGERS, Circuit Judge.
In 1894 the defendant corporation was organized for the purpose of conducting a general department store. It had an authorized capital stock of $250,000, all of which it issued. On July 11, 1909, it entered into a lease with the Barwin Realty Company, hereinafter designated as landlord, while the defendant corporation is hereinafter referred to as tenant.
