The accused was convicted of stealing a package from the mails, in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 934, and was sentenced to a dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and confinement at hard labor for three years. The convening authority reduced the confinement to a period of two years, but otherwise approved the findings and sentence.
