This interpleader action was brought by Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (“Northwestern”) to determine the ownership of eight whole life insurance policies (the “Policies"). The individually named defendants (the “Claimants”) are former officers or directors of City Federal Savings and Loan Association, Birmingham, Alabama (“City Federal”).
