In a prior opinion, this court affirmed appellant Gilmore’s conviction of distribution of heroin and rejected his claim that his mandatory minimum sentence was improperly enhanced under D.C.Code § 33-541(c)(l)(A-l) (1993) (repealed 1995). 1 Gilmore v.
