After a jury trial, appellants Flossie N. Robinson and Grady Butler were convicted of distribution of heroin, in violation of D.C.Code § 33-541 (1998). 1 Both filed a timely notice of appeal, challenging various rulings of the trial court. In addition, Robinson filed a D.C.Code § 23-110 (1996) motion, asserting ineffectiveness of trial counsel. The motion was denied, and Robinson filed a timely appeal. We affirm the convictions of Robinson and Butler, and the trial court’s denial of Robinson’s § 23-110 motion. However, we remand Butler’s case to the trial court for…
