OPINION

SHORT, Judge.

American Sharecom, Inc. redeemed 725,-000 shares of its common stock registered to Harry A. Johnson, Jr. Claiming a legal right to 50,000 shares of Johnson’s stock, Vernon R. Beck sued Sharecom for conversion, wrongful transfer, and tortious interference with contractual rights. At trial, the jury returned a special verdict in Beck’s favor. Shareeom’s posttrial motions were denied, and the trial court awarded Beck $800,000 in damages plus prejudgment interest. On appeal, Sharecom argues there was no fact question for the jury to decide and it is entitled to judgment…
