THORNBERRY, Circuit Judge:
After Nelson Brunnemann was terminated from his employment with Terra International Inc., he brought suit in district court for age discrimination and negligent infliction of emotional distress under Texas law. The district court dismissed the claim for negligent infliction of emotional distress and after a jury trial, the district court found in favor of Brunnemann, awarding him $100,000 in compensatory damages and an additional $100,000 in liquidated damages.
