Plaintiff Modina Brown commenced this action on March 4, 1974 pursuant to section 205(g) of the Social Security Act (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), seeking a reversal of the final decision of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare which denied plaintiff’s application for the establishment of a disability and for disability insurance benefits as provided by sections 216(i) and 223 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 416(i) and 423, respectively.
