OPINION OF THE COURT

ADAMS, Circuit Judge.

This is an action brought by Bertha Bittel pursuant to the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C.A. § 405(g), seeking judicial review of the denial by the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare of disability insurance claimed pursuant to 42 U.S.C.A. § 423.

On November 7, 1967, Mrs. Bittel applied to the Social Security Administration for disability insurance benefits. In her application Mrs. Bittel claimed that she had been unable to engage in gainful employment since March 16, 1967, as a result of numerous physical disabilities. After the Bureau of…
