This action was instituted by the plaintiff as indorsee of a negotiable promissory note executed by the defendant to “the Practical Wire Fence Company” for the sum of $300. The defendant pleaded as a defense to the action that it was obtained from him by fraud. Verdict and judgment being in favor of the defendant, the plaintiff has appealed.
