Appellant L. Jean Smith married Alfred Smith on May 13, 1971. At that time Mrs. Smith had separate property consisting of at least $4000 worth of savings bonds in a safety deposit box in a bank in Pocatello. On June 7, 1971, Mrs. Smith opened a savings account with the respondent Idaho State University Credit Union (Credit Union) in the sum of $1000, which came from her safety deposit box.
