Petitioner Ronald Mark Draughn, who is presently confined at the State Prison of Southern Michigan in Jackson, Michigan, has filed a pro se application for the writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On January 14, 1986, a jury in Recorder’s Court for the City of Detroit, Michigan, found petitioner guilty of murder in the second degree and possession, of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
