OPINION AND ORDER DENYING PETITION FOR A WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS

ROBERTS, District Judge.

Petitioner Randy Troy Vliet, a state prisoner currently confined at the Mid-Michigan Correctional Facility in St. Louis, Michigan, has filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Petitioner pleaded no lo contendere to attempted first-degree child abuse and resisting and obstructing a police officer in the Saginaw County Circuit Court in 2000.
