SANDSTROM, Justice.

[¶ 1] Carla E dinger appealed from a district court judgment denying her petition for a writ of mandamus. We affirm, concluding the Governing Authority of the Stutsman County Correctional Center and Law Enforcement Center (“the Governing Authority”) did not violate the open meeting law when it held a closed executive session to discuss Edinger’s complaint about changes in her pay and employment duties.
