The p’aiw-i tiff in error was the plaintiff below, and the defendant in error was the defendant. The parties will be referred to herein as plaintiff and defendant, as they appeared in the trial court.

The cause was tried upon the plaintiff’s amended petition. The -plaintiff, by its amended petition, seeks to recover from the defendant the sum of 8600 and accrued and accruing interest, upon a promissory note made by defendant, payable to plaintiff, and for .a reasonable attorney fee in the sum of $100, as provided in tbe note.
