Mary Frances Long (hereafter plaintiff or Miss Long) brought a “products liability” diversity action against Burdette Manufacturing Company (Burdette) seeking damages for personal injuries allegedly resulting from her use, in the manner hereinafter detailed, of an audiovisual table which was a part of the regular equipment in the Oakley Elementary School where she was employed as librarian and Assistant Principal.
