Tammy Pepper suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident when she was struck by a pickup truck owned by her sister and driven by her stepfather. Following the accident, Pepper sought insurance benefits under three policies. First, Pepper sought and recovered liability benefits from her sister’s insurer.
