Plaintiff-appellee, International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150, AFL-CIO (“Union”), filed the instant action pursuant to Section 301(a) of the Labor-Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185(a), to compel the defendant-appellant, G. Bliudzius Contractors, Inc. (“Company”), to arbitrate a dispute between the Union and Bliudzius pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement between the Union and the Mid-America Regional Bargaining Association (“MARBA”).
