In August, 1944, August Rosenthal, a bachelor, died at the age of seventy-six. Laura Groth, a niece, lived with him on his farm and kept house for him for thirty-eight years. Likewise John Fisher, a nephew, worked for Rosen-thal for over thirty years, and lived with him on Rosenthal’s farm until, upon Fisher marrying Emma Fisher in 1939, he resided with her on her father’s farm. Twenty-four hours after Rosenthal’s death Fisher died; and his wife was his heir and was appointed administratrix of his estate.
