VANDE WALLE, Chief Justice.

[¶ 1] D.V.A. appealed from an order committing him to the care, custody, and control of the executive director of the North Dakota Department of Human Ser*778vices for treatment as a sexually dangerous individual. We affirm.

[¶ 2] D.V.A. was convicted by his plea of guilty to a class A felony of Gross Sexual Imposition in 1996.
