These consolidated appeals involve the extent to which defendant, the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA), is required to indemnify member insurers for no-fault personal protection insurance (PIP) benefits paid to or on behalf of an injured claimant when the policyholder is responsible to pay a deductible pursuant to a term of the insurance contract between the member insurer and the policyholder.
