BOLIN, Justice.

Raphael Jermine Landrum petitions this Court for a writ of certiorari to review the Court of Criminal Appeals’ decision affirming, by unpublished memorandum, the trial court’s decision to allow into evidence Landrum’s inculpatory custodial statement. Landrum v. State (No. CR-08-0229, July 24, 2009), 57 So.3d 204 (Ala.Crim.App.2009) (table). We granted certiorari review to consider whether the Court of Criminal Appeals’ decision conflicts with precedent interpreting Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436, 86 S.Ct. 1602, 16 L.Ed.2d 694 (1966).
