[¶ 1] Stephen Lockhart appeals from a judgment of conviction entered in the Superior Court (Kennebec County, Warren, J.) following a jury verdict finding him guilty of murder in violation of 17-A M.R.S.A. § 201QXA) (1983), amended by 17-A M.R.S.A. § 201(1) (Supp.2002).
