SIMMS, Justice:

Richard J. Traczyk, plaintiff below, appeals the judgment of the district court granting a divorce to both parties, dividing the marital property and awarding custody, alimony and support. Mr. Traczyk (Husband) takes issue with the trial court’s handling of the marital property, primarily the valuation of goodwill of the podiatry clinic he owns and an acceleration clause in the award of alimony in the event he fails to timely make an alimony payment to Kathleen M.
