— The People’s Bank was a private corporation, incorporated under the general statutes, and located and doing business in Eufaula. It became embarrassed, and closed its doors in January, 1879. A bill was filed by a part of the stockholders, charging mismanagement and insolvency of the corporation, and praying the appointment of a receiver.
