[123.] This appeal involves . an award of the Industrial Commission of Missouri under the Workmen’s Compensation law. Ch. 287 — statutory references, unless otherwise, indicated, are :to HSMo 1949, YAMS. The case was transferred to this court by the St. Lou-is Court of Appeals on the ground “the amount in dispute” exceeded $7,500. Mo. Const., Art. Y, §§ 3, 13; § 477.040.
