HIGHTOWER, Justice.
In these consolidated ad valorem tax cases, we consider whether a taxpayer who successfully challenges the denial of an open-space land designation is entitled to attorney’s fees. In each case, the taxpayer was denied an open-space land designation and appealed the denial to the district court. The district court granted the open-space land designation and awarded attorney’s fees to the taxpayers.
