OPINION
LAGARDE, Justice.
Dallas Central Appraisal District and Dallas County Appraisal Review Board (collectively referred to as the “appraisal unit”)1 appeal from a judgment granting open-space land designation to property owned by Seven Investment Company and the Callejo-Botello Foundation (collectively referred to as the “taxpayers”).2 The trial court rendered partial summary judgment denying the open-space land designation for two of the tax years.
